Hello everybody today I will write about a important theme of my career: an artists
Is very dificult for me to choose a artist, especially because every day tell us about a new artist.
Well i have to make mi decision: Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio. He was a italian painter was born in 1571 in Milan, and died in Porto Ercole in 1610

The Flagellation of Christ
His style was Barroco. he did mostly religious paintings, his models were a ordinary people not a perfect people like the renacentist art. This can be explained cause he was very religious, and he painted in the time of counter reformation, he wanted bring religion to the people who followed protestant religion and to those who doubted. His paintings have always been controversial. Some people loved his realist style and other hate that  when he represents the saints as an ordinary people, the virgen with a madure woman body, etc. Also he started to used more shadows in the paints this is called "el Tenebrismo" (maybe in english "the Dark"). Many of his painting was reject and qualify like vulgar. He painted too the still life all like a real figures. Finally now the drama and the dark style used for Caravaggioinspired many moderm artist.
